Saturdays in the Sierras - Marlette Lake

Meet in the parking lot behind the Greyhound Bus Station in Colfax at 7:00am. Don’t forget a sack lunch and plenty of water!

You'll be rewarded with breathless views of Lake Tahoe to complement your panting lungs. Marlette is a pristine alpine lake that sits serenely at 7,823 feet on Lake Tahoe's East Shore. This is a 10 mile round-trip trail. If you walk the ridge a bit you can eventually line up the optical illusion of Marlette spilling into Tahoe.
